Selina Ringel,

is a Mexican-American  award winning Writer, Producer, Casting Director & Performer. She has collaborated with incredible talent including Issa Rae ( INSECURE) , Lee Aronsohn ( TWO AND A HALF MEN), Salvador Paskowitz ( AGE OF ADELINE), and Rob Schneider ( DEUCE BIGALOW, MALE GIGALOW). Selina has a strong eye for talent, which is why she’s been hired by multiple production companies to cast their projects and discover new breakout stars. She has worked as a Casting Director for over 7 years having cast over 80 projects including features, shorts, digital series, augmented reality and commercials. Her first feature film THE BEST PEOPLE, which she wrote & produced, was picked up by Samuel Goldwyn Films and got distributed worldwide, in the U.S. it is now available on Amazon Prime & Tubi.

THE BEST PEOPLE won the Special Jury Award for BEST COMEDY feature at WorldFest Houston and was the Closing Night film at Dances with Films. Other work has screened at many festivals including Cannes Film Festival ( Section L'ACID), Cannes Shorts Corner, Tribeca, Clermont Ferrand and Cinequest film festival. Along with being in competition, Selina has also served as a guest judge for numerous festivals around the country. Selina  was recently selected as one of twenty upcoming emerging Latino creators for the Tomorrow's Filmmakers Today program sponsored by HBO & The Academy, and has given master classes in collaboration with TEC DE Monterrey, Creator Up, Youtube, AT&T, Mitu Network, New York Film Academy and other educational programs.  Selina is in the Groundlings program, and also performs stand up regularly at the Improv, The Ice House, and The Comedy Store. Selina is also the star of a digital series called TUNING IN which she wrote and produced, and is now available on AMAZON Prime. Selina received her BA in Film Production at Loyola Marymount University and her MFA in Producing at the AFI Conservatory in 2014. She is fluent in English, Spanish, French and Italian.
